  • Terrific Trees!

Thu 16 Jun 2022 Miss Cant

Yesterday Jupiter went on a tree hunt around school. We have been learning about plants in Science and have been finding out about different types of trees including what deciduous and evergreen means. We found different trees and drew their leaves to help identify them.

  • Neptune's Showcase

Tue 14 Jun 2022 Mrs Mustard

Today was Neptune's showcase event. It was lovely to have so many parents, grandparents, aunties etc join us. The children shared their learning from this term on rivers. As you can see everyone was very involved in our activities. Everyone took part in an invertebrate hunt and created river models using natural resources. Thank you to those who attended :)

  • Beautiful butterflies!

Mon 13 Jun 2022 Mrs Evered

Venus have been making beautiful butterflies. We created symmetrical patterned wings using wool. Then we added pipe cleaners and beads to make the antennae, head and body.

  • Sporting skills

Fri 10 Jun 2022 Mrs Evered

Venus have been putting their throwing and catching skills to the test in a game of rounders.  We had great fun bowling, batting and fielding.

  • Exploring Features of Castles!

    Fri 10 Jun 2022

To start our DT unit off, Earth had to assemble parts of a castle and label its features. We explored all the different features of a castle and we all had lots of ideas on how we could create them when we make our own!

  • Year 6 showcase

Thu 09 Jun 2022 Miss Bainbridge

Year 6 had a fantastic morning participating in a historic reenactment of the Roman Empire. There was a Roman legion, that kindly let us join in with their marching. The class tested their parents on their knowledge of Roman numerals and we all made felt for a Roman soldier’s armour, using soapy water, not urine like the real Romans! Yuck! It was great to see so many parents come along and join in.
