  • Making a Pacman Game

    Saturn developed a Pacman game using inputs and outputs. Everyone had fun moving their Pacman around the maze.

  • Puddles!

    Mars had lots of fun playing outside in rain today! Dressed in our waterproofs we explored making marks with sweeping brushes and washing up liquid, followed by lots of puddle jumping!

  • Skeleton Sculptures

    Saturn have been learning about the human body. In class, we explored how the skeleton works. We found out that the skeletal system provides strength and rigidity to our body so we don’t just flop around like jellyfish.

     

    We also created skeleton sculptures and mud drawings as part of out topic work.

  • Primary colours

    Jupiter have been learning about the primary colours. They learnt that they are colours you can’t make by mixing other colours together. We explored the work of the artist Piet Mondrian who liked to use primary colours in his artwork. We made our own picture inspired by him.

  • Outdoor Fun

    This week Mars have spent lots of time outdoors. We have had a great time exploring our mud pit! It has been a swamp, an animal watering hole and a splash pool for all of us to enjoy.

     

    Snow fell on Thursday so we explored the snow and ice in our garden. We finished the session with a slide down the hill; we couldnt resist and even Mr Barnes joined in!

    Mercury class are enjoying their virtual Flex-it-Friday lessons with Mrs Knighton, Señorita Bainbridge and Miss Tingate whether they are at home are in school!

    Although they’ve been missing their friends a lot, Mercury have been keeping their spirits up by building dens in the woods, playing in the snow, coding a dance-off, making their own fit-bit, getting creative and joining in virtual lessons.
