Administration of Medication

In the event that your child requires medication to be administered in school for a limited period of time please complete this online form.In line with Public Health guidance, please note:

Only medication that is prescribed by a medical professional can be administered in school. Over the counter medication cannot be administered.

Staff can only administer medication once during the school day.

Medication which is required three times a day, can not be administered during the school day. Instead, it should be administered by parents before school, after school and at bed time.

It is school policy that, wherever possible, a trained first aider will administer medication to children.
