School Council

The School Council at Washingwell Primary School gives our students a voice and helps shape our school community. Elected by their peers, the council meets once a fortnight with Miss Johnson to discuss how we can improve our school and enhance the learning experience for everyone. School Council members work on projects, organise initiatives, and bring forward suggestions from their classmates. Being part of the School Council helps students develop confidence, problem-solving abilities, and a sense of responsibility. We believe the School Council empowers our pupils to express their opinions and work together to create a positive and supportive environment for everyone.
